About Rad Pitt
Hailing from Britain’s oldest city, Colchester’s Rad Pitt have stayed true to their founding ethos since 2015: play fat riffs and keep it DIY.
Throughout their time together, they’ve churned out three albums (each with a crazily short duration) and played shows each individual member only dreamed of playing before the band began. From a Sunday morning opening set at Latitude festival, to a set at ATG in a tent surrounded by a biblical rain shower, to supporting some of the heroes of the underground scene including The St Pierre Snake Invasion and Alpha Male Tea Party.
Now in 2022, with a fresh faced, young-enough-to-be-the-guitarist’s-son vocalist, the band are back with a traditionally short 4-track EP. In its short run time, it discusses snakes, ‘incel’ culture, lycra clad cyclists and horror movies - continuing to stick to the band’s signature tongue in cheek lyricism set to a backdrop of distorted ostinati.
